Bridlewood Farm will host Ocala’s first Divertimentos & Dressage event, a freestyle dressage set to a symphony orchestra in a VIP setting, on Thurs., January 30 at 6 p.m. Presented by Lugano Diamonds, the Ocala Symphony Orchestra led by chorus director and assistant conductor Joshua L. Mazur, will play musical selections for choreographed movements of gifted dressage riders and grand prix horses.
Tables are sold out, but individual tickets are available for $90.
The program features horses, riders, orchestra and guests all sharing the arena and includes a pre-performance reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. There is also a silent auction and travel auction, followed by a one-hour concert and dressage presentation. The program ends with desserts and coffee.
Award-winning dressage riders performing include nationally and internationally recognized riders and Ocala residents Audrie Anthony, Alex Dominguez, Jessica Howington, Nicole Scarpino and Erin Walker. Additional riders will be announced with all performing to works of classical composers.
