Ackeret, in his career debut Oct. 9 at Belmont Park, became the first winner for freshman sire Mach Ride, scoring by three-lengths in the 6 1/2-furlong contest.
Mach Ride, winner of six stakes races including the 2007 Smile Sprint H. (G2) at Calder Race Course, stood the 2014 season at Bridlewood for $2,000.
Ackeret is the first starter for the winning Touch Gold mare Lady Zieg. He is owned by David Wilkenfield’s Pick Six Racing and Silverstreak Stables.
