Bridlewood Farm purchased a pair of fillies during Day 1 of the 2013 Keeneland September Yearling sale. The duo was part of four purchases made by Bridlewood during the first three days of the auction, which annually features the top horses of the sale.
Consigned as hip No. 135, the bay filly was consigned by Four Star Sales, agent. Bred in Canada out of the unraced Holy Bull mare Le Comete, the filly is a half-sister to Munnings, winner of a trio of Grade 2 events and the multiple stakes winner Munnings Sister.
Bridlewood’s other day 1 purchase was a $100,000 Eskendereya filly consigned by Hinkle Farms. The filly is a half sister to stakes winner Stylish Citizen.
On day 2, Bridlewood went to $200,000 for hip No. 283, a filly by Divine Park out of the stakes winner On The Menu, who is a half-sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Include Me Out as well as the Grade 1 winner Check the Label.
Bridlewood’s largest expenditure came on day 3 for hip No. 554 with a winning bid of $550,000 for a Scat Daddy filly out of the stakes-placed Tempting Note, who has produced the Gazelle S. (G1) winner Dance Card and Grade 2 placed Tempted to Tapit.
