Unintimidated strolled home a clear winner in a Gulfstream Park maiden race on June 23 to become the 25th winner for his sire Big Drama, a figure that ties him for the top spot on the Second-Crop Florida Sires’ list, as well as fifth on the General Second-Crop list.
Three-year-old Unintimidated let Key to the Storm and The Long Walk battle through a brisk half-mile in :45.28, then began to reel in the pacesetters, making up about a half-dozen lengths over a quarter mile before pulling away late to secure the win.
Unintimidated comes from a strong family that includes stakes winner Gator Brew and multiple stakes-placed Montessa G. Their dam Doc’s Doll was a stakes winner herself, banking $207,985.
Unintimidated was a graduate of the 2014 OBS Yearling sale, where he brought a winning bid of $230,000 from George Bolton, now co-owner with Peter Leidel.
